Knysna - Garden Route
As you may have heard, the town of Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa was very badly affected by wild fires and gale force winds between 7 and 11 June 2017.
Sadly Knysna Hollow was completely destroyed in the fire – we are devastated, but very relieved that no guests or staff were injured. Although Knysna Hollow will not be operational for the foreseeable future we are happy to advise that we are planning to rebuild and open up again at the end of 2018.
Please Contact our reservations team if you have any current reservations so that we can help you find other available accommodation in knysna.
Although Knysna and the Garden route area have been significantly affected by these fires, we are all standing together and working towards something bigger and better.
"Tourism is now more important than ever before. We need to ensure that we sustain job losses following the fire. While business rebuild, we need tourism to boost this town. our next big event is the Knysna oyster festival. Let’s make it a better festival than ever before. The festival is a great opportunity for people to help our residents recover from this disaster. We look forward to welcoming a record number of people to this festival.”
