PERRY’S BRIDGE HOLLOW IS AMAZING *****
Great spacious rooms, very private and quaint. Fridge, safe and A/C in my room. Rooms cleaned daily while I was out, really friendly and helpful staff. Nice simple range of breakfast. I’m not usually a big eater. Love the outside shower. Gardens are well maintained and the pool area is great with a few lounges to sit back and relax. Very happy in general. No complaints! :)
GREAT PLACE TO STAY *****
We enjoyed our long weekend in a spacious room with a patio door opening up in beautiful gardens. Beds really comfortable and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Something to consider is moving the soap and shampoo dispensers so that they are easily accessible from both the bath and shower. We can most certainly recommend Perry’s bridge Hollow to any visitor to the Lowveld.
WONDERFUL LITTLE PLACE WITH EVERYTHING *****
We stayed here at the end of our trip in South Africa and were quite pleased with everything. The room was spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom was nice, and the patio doors opened right to the pool. Only small complaint was that the warm water didn’t last through two of us taking a shower right after each other, but as I said, small problem.
Front desk reception was very welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help with whatever information requests we had no matter how strange. Kuka had a good breakfast and we had AMAZING pizza for dinner at Topolinos. Some of the best pizza we’ve ever had.
The Trading Post is right there with all sorts of shops to explore. Some are more commercial, but there are a couple with local goods which we enjoyed browsing.
Great place if you want visit Blyde River Canyon or the Waterfall Route.
STANDOUT PLACE! *****
We were more than pleased with our stay at Perry’s Bridge Hollow. We reserved this place “blind” meaning we didn’t know what to expect. What a wonderful surprise! The rooms are spacious - especially the bathrooms, and it’s surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Innocent, one of the reservation staff, and the hotel manager were gracious and helpful. Another bonus is that it’s located next to an excellent restaurant - Kuka. A really standout place to stay.
ABOVE AND BEYOND! *****
I would highly recommend Perry’s Bridge Hollow to anyone visiting Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon / God’s Window. The hotel is charming with spacious and clean rooms. The staff is awesome - Innocent and his colleagues go above and beyond! They are always ready and willing to help with a smile. And if by chance they don’t know the answer to a question they find the answer for you either online or by calling around for you. There are no phones in the rooms but we were invited to use the phone at the front desk for a very reasonable price. A thanks to the security guards for our prompt and courteous wake up knocks! An added plus is the proximity to the Trading Post which consists of restaurants and shops.
On arrival we were greeted by a chap called Innocent, he was a delight always smiling and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was lovely and spacious with an indoor bathroom including a shower and an outdoor shower. The beds were lovely and comfortable and rooms were spotless. The patio doors led out to lovely gardens and a fair size swimming pool. The restaurant had a good choice on the menu which was very reasonably priced. The food was great. The location was ideal for Kruger National Park which was only 20-30 mins away. All sorts of tours and adventures can be booked when your there. We wished we could have stayed longer.
SOUTH AFRICAN ADVENTURE *****
Words do not explain the way we were met and greeted by the reception staff, at Perrys Bridge Hollow, when we arrived after a long drive. We were lucky enough to have a very special person named Innocent on reception, also showed us to our rooms and you name it he did it. What a special person.
I spent a bit of time in the reception lounge, as the Wi FI was free and hence during my daily visits. I observed his genuine kindness, towards whoever walked into the area. There were people who would walk in off the road, make enquiries re directions, accommodation, etc. He treated everybody as if they were very special, with no expectations.
For a couple travelling independently The experience we had in Africa was to be recommended.
MORE THAN A WELCOME *****
After a bad experience at Kruger National Park, my partner and I were stuck for a place to stay. We had a booking for the next night at Perrys Bridge, so after a long day we found our way there in the dark. When I walked into the reception, I was met and greeted with smiles and warm welcomes by the staff, and after telling them our story they made a plan for us to stay a night earlier. Even though we were not expected, the room was still amazing, the staff were really warm and friendly and Innocent was a real gem. The restaurant, Kuka, was also very accommodating and the manager Alfded could not do enough for us. The food was also very well done. Thank you Perrys Bridge for a wonderful stay!
ANOTHER GREAT STAY! *****
This is the third time we have stayed in 15 months. Stayed three nights. Excellent room, swimming pool was just lovely. Staff friendly. Cheap wifi. First half hour free. Excellent location for visits to Kruger. Which is why we were there.
A WONDERFUL RELAXING RETREAT *****
My husband, my son and I stayed at Perry’s Bridge Hollow for 3 nights and we had a really great experience. The staff were warm and friendly (and front desk staff even gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate our 25th anniversary!). The bedrooms and bathrooms were huge (and so were the beds - which were extremely comfortable). I loved how they decorated the rooms - lots of dark wood, white linens, soft yellow bathroom tiles and walls (and beautiful fresh flowers). I thought the outdoor showers were such a nice exotic touch and our room had french doors that opened on to the pool. There was a restaurant on premise which served good, reasonably priced food and drinks and I like browsing in the stores. Don’t get put off by the signs out front when you drive up - it’s a bit too much, but when you go to your room, you’ll get a sense of peace and quiet. You’ll relax and find a perfect little haven before you embark on your day trips to Kruger or the Panorama route.
CONVENIENT TO KRUGER, GREAT STAY *****
Wonderful hotel on a complex with several dining options and shopping. Easy 15 minute drive to a Kruger Park gate. Rooms were huge, great big bed with patio. Indoor and outdoor showers. Outdoor shower was awesome and really amazing to take a shower and enjoy the pitch black starry African night sky! I’d stay here again in a minute.
A SUPER STAY *****
We arrive long after a long days travelling. We were met with drinks and an easy check in. The room was spacious with both an indoor and out door showers (which we braved)
The gardens were lovely and we spied zebra and ostrich from our room.
The associated restaurant did delicious breakfasts but the set menu in the evening could have been a little warmer when it reached the table.
Overall a very relaxing stay.
THIS STARTED OUR SAFARI EXPERIENCE EXCELLENTLY! *****
We stayed for 2 nights as part of an organised safari experience, the location was perfect for Elephant Whispers and hot air ballooning, which we would definitely recommend. The service was great, rooms are large, suitably decorated and clean, set in great surroundings including seeing zebra and giraffe in the next field! We ate at the Kuku restaurant and were impressed, great steak! The shops are worth visiting, including the bakery! We would definitely recommend if visiting the area.
DEFINITELY A MUST! *****
Very pleasant stay, would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone... and the receptionist made our stay even better. We arrived late on Friday but she was still there to welcome us for this we will definitely be coming back. Keep up the good work!
LIVED UP TO ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS AND MUCH MORE ****
We stayed in this lovely hotel in January, regretfully only for one night. What made it even better was the fact that we had just left a disgusting 2 night stay in Skukuza and were so happy and surprised to find such a well-kept and efficient hotel.
The room was lovely and very comfortable. The fact that you do not need a car to pass some time or find a place to eat is a great and important plus. The staff were very helpful.
All in all everything was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. Keep up the good work.
GREAT PLACE FOR FAMILY AND CLOSE TO KRUGER PARK GATE *****
Stayed there for only two nights, but this is a great base to stay i.e. 4 days. You can either drive the Panorama route (God’s Window, Blyde River) as well as the Kruger Park. Ask for a stamp on your way out in the middle of the day at the gate. You can then drive to Perry’s (your great room) for a good lunch (or pastry at the belgian baker). Take a short swim and return to Kruger at the end of the day for a one or two hours drive before closing of the park. Really no need to book accommodation in the park itself. The shopping mall is also close by, but all you’ll need is around Perry. Several restaurants, good breakfast at Kuka restaurant included. Staff and services really what you can and should expect. Travelled with 2 kids (8 and 6 years old).
WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE ****
We booked a package here which was 5 days and 4 nights and didn’t want to leave. It was fantastic. The room was cosy and comfortable and the location close to Kruger was fantastic. We experienced a Shangaan Cultural dinner on one night and spent one full day and two half days in Kruger for our game drives. Absolutely brilliant! The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We also spent about 3 hours over 2 days with the elephants from Elephant Whispers. Do yourself a favour - if you are an animal lover, you must do this. Such beautiful creatures and you learn so much about them while you interact closely with them. There are shops and restaurants very near the rooms and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The meals were tasty and we were accommodated with early breakfasts delivered to our rooms the night before our 5.00am game drive starts. The only time in my life I’ve been happy to get up early. I would definitely recommend Perry’s Bridge.
WELL LOCATED HOTEL WITH THREE RESTAURANTS AND A NUMBER OF SHOPS *****
Stayed 2 nights in a large well appointed room. Facility includes 3 separate restaurants and many gift and art stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet service was available. Room was very clean and we were very close to a Kruger Park entrance.
