Although born and raised in the big city of Johannesburg, Vicky is definitely not a city girl. This special girl exudes a passion for the African bush and nature. After finishing high school, Vicky studied and obtained a degree in psychology and criminology at the
University of Pretoria.

She realised soon after that a calling to be in the bush was burning inside and she changed her course to follow her dream. She qualified as a field guide at the Bushveld Training Academy before starting her guiding career
in the Balule Game Reserve.

She joined our team early in 2015 with her fiancée and our Executive chef, Mike Stephenson. An individual with exceptional bush knowledge and a warm and kind heart, Vicky is the perfect field guide and hostess.
