PILGRIMS REST GOLD TOUR Re-live the history of this old mining town which was declared a National Monument in 1986. Visit the Alenglade House Museum, formerly the Mine Manager’s home which was built and furnished in 1915. Pan for gold, explore the various museums, churches and the old cemetery or spend time searching for antiques and collectables in the quaint shops.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK Spend the day in the world famous Kruger National Park exploring the wonders of the African bush in the company of a qualified field guide. The two million hectare Kruger National Park is unmatched in its diversity of mammals, birds, reptiles, flora, fauna and amphibians.

ELEPHANT WHISPERS Elephant Whispers are dedicated to securing the future of the African Elephant, and welcome people of all ages to share in the excitement of close encounters with these magnificent creatures. Experience the privilege of little Lindiwe’s compassionate nature, witness Medwa’s remarkable memory and enjoy the thrill of interacting with Tembo. The interaction with the elephant offers you the opportunity to touch the elephant, exchange trunk greetings and offer tasty treats. After the interaction, saddle-up and set off into the bush on the back of the elephant. Enjoy a different perspective while embarking on a journey that was once a privilege reserved only for kings!

SUDWALA CAVES The caves are set in Precambrian dolomite rock formed over a period of 3 000 million years, when Africa was still part of Gondwana. The caves formed about 240 million years ago making them the oldest known caves in the world. There are a number of calcium configurations in the cave which are known by attention-grabbing names; the ‘Screaming Monster’, ‘Lowveld Rocket’ and ‘Samson’s Pillar’. The first oxygen producing plants on the earth, Collenia, which formed 2 000 million years ago are also found in the caves.

HOEDSPRUIT ENDANGERED SPECIES CENTRE A centre focusing on the conservation of rare, vulnerable or endangered animals. Cheetah Conservation is one of their main aims, with focus on releasing captive-bred cheetahs into the wild. They also concentrate in the healing and rehabilitation of orphaned and injured animals brought to the centre.


MOHOLOHOLO ANIMAL REHABILITATION CENTRE
A haven for the rehabilitation and care of abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife. View lion, leopard, servals, caracals, honey badgers, eagles and vultures up close.

HOT AIR BALLOONING An amazing sight-seeing experience where the incredible views of the Mpumalanga Lowveld are showcased in clear detail. A fantastic way to view Mother Earth!

SHANGAAN TRIBAL VILLAGE Immerse yourself in a feast of culture with a night of Shangaan song and dance and an unforgettable African banquet in the Shangaan River Club Lapa.

THE JANE GOODAL INSTITUTE CHIMPANZEE EDEN Home to chimps that have been moved out of their natural environment and need a safe haven. The only chimpanzee sanctuary in South Africa.
