SUDWALA CAVES The caves are set in Precambrian dolomite rock formed over a period of 3 000 million years, when Africa was still part of Gondwana. The caves formed about 240 million years ago making them the oldest known caves in the world. There are a number of calcium configurations in the cave which are known by attention-grabbing names; the ‘Screaming Monster’, ‘Lowveld Rocket’ and ‘Samson’s Pillar’. The first oxygen producing plants on the earth, Collenia, which formed 2 000 million years ago are also found in the caves.

HOEDSPRUIT ENDANGERED SPECIES CENTRE A centre focusing on the conservation of rare, vulnerable or endangered animals. Cheetah Conservation is one of their main aims, with focus on releasing captive-bred cheetahs into the wild. They also concentrate in the healing and rehabilitation of orphaned and injured animals brought to the centre.

A haven for the rehabilitation and care of abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife. View lion, leopard, servals, caracals, honey badgers, eagles and vultures up close.

HOT AIR BALLOONING An amazing sight-seeing experience where the incredible views of the Mpumalanga Lowveld are showcased in clear detail. A fantastic way to view Mother Earth!

The “Living Cultural Village” a journey through the stages of life in a Shangaan homestead, (muti) learrning about traditional practices from birth, through childhood up to marriage, after which a delicious lunch will served in the typical African style, after the theatre show.

GOLF - SABIE RIVER GOLF COURSE · Hazyview, Mpumalanga
Enjoy a round of golf at the Sabi River Country Cub in Hazyview on the banks of the famous Sabie River. 18 holes of golf followed by lunch at the halfway house can be enjoyed.
COURSE INFORMATION: : Rated among the top 10 courses in South Africa, the course is situated alongside Nelspruit and White River. One of only four 18 hole courses in the Lowveld. The Sabi River, one of the country’s important watercourses, as well as a network of dams, form of a hazard on all but 4 of the 18 holes.

superb. Very knowledgeable,
friendly and flexible.
We enjoyed the tour thoroughly.
Overall though an A+ for sure.

He was such an interesting
